Quinlan Byrne is a folk singer based in Santa Barbara, California. Originally from London, Quinlan’s unique blend of American Roots, Celtic, and Contemporary Folk music helps to tell the story of the common human experiences across various places and times. Armed with his signature 5-string banjo, Quinlan’s vocal and instrumental versatility allows him access to an eclectic repertoire rooted in Sankofa, the Ghanian tradition of “going back and bringing forward” things from the past. This concept allows Quinlan’s music to take on a timeless and spiritual feel stretching across various traditions in search of commonality and community.
